Hellz Bellz Ultra
Ring the BELL
Welcome to Hellz Bellz
"Somewhere inside we hear a voice. It leads us in the direction of who we wish to become. But it is up to us whether or not to follow."
— Pat Tillman
Hellz Bellz isn't just another trail race—it's a challenge to discover what you're truly capable of.
Set in the heart of the Yacolt Burn State Forest, this course winds through what we at Bivouac Racing proudly call our backyard. From towering forests and rushing streams to waterfalls, ridgelines, and breathtaking views of Mount St. Helens, Hellz Bellz showcases some of the most rugged and beautiful trails in Southwest Washington.
Don't mistake the scenery for an easy day on the trails. Steep climbs, technical singletrack, rocky descents, stream crossings, and relentless terrain will test your strength, grit, and determination from the first mile to the last. Whether you're tackling the 50 Mile Ultra, Hellz Gate 50K, or Purgatory Trail Marathon, you'll earn every step—and every finish.
When you finally return to Yacolt Recreation Park, one last tradition awaits.
Ring the Bell.
It's more than a finish line. It's a symbol of perseverance, resilience, and the journey you've just completed.
These trails are our home, and we're honored to share them with you. As you experience everything the Yacolt Burn has to offer, please help us protect it by leaving no trace, respecting the forest, and preserving these incredible places for those who follow.
