The Endless Summer
“In Search of the Perfect Trail”
Endless Summer
The Spiritual Side…….
“There’s something about facing the raw power of nature that puts everything else in perspective”
William Finnegan Barbarian Days
The culture of Surfing and Trail Running go hand in hand. They connect us with nature .. teach us to be mindful and allows us time for self reflection as we challenge our physicality. There’s a meditative and calming experience to our sports… one that fosters a sense of presence, patience & appreciation for natures power. Surfing and Trail Running can act as a metaphor for life’s challenges, teaching acceptance of difficulties, the importance of resilience, and how to navigate hardships with a new perspective along with a sense of gratitude.
The Power of Connection: Community
The communities surrounding these sports are strong…connecting people from all walks of life due to their shared love for the outdoors, trails and the environment as a whole. The seasons shine their own bright lights that help draw us away from the mundane of life. Those of us who live in this beautiful Pacific Northwest Paradise know that natures light dims a little during the winter months. The quest for The Endless Summer is a journey to keep our spirits high during these times as we explore, motivate and push each other as a community. At the same time, giving back to some of our favorite environment and trail stewards.
